Lionwoman in the Spotlight

Artistic Director, Michelle Britton, was an invited conversationalist at this year's TABLE TALK, a UH-led initiative by the Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department (WGSS) and the Friends of WGSS, based here in Houston. A fantastic intersection of arts, sciences, education, civics, non-profits, and more, this 29-year event brings hundreds of people interested in the careers, accomplishments and perspectives of women from all walks of life, to be a part of inclusive conversations and shared stories of success, challenges, and progress.  The sold-out table included luncheon companions who were specifically drawn to the mission and performing arts featured as part of Lionwoman Productions TX.

Friends of WGSS has opportunities for women-led initiatives and collaborations, something Lionwoman is keenly interested in and following up on.  Will keep you posted!
