Producer,  Artistic Director

A native Texan, Producer, Michelle Britton, has three decades of experience in the performing arts.  In the role of Artistic Director, she seeks to connect the power of live theater to make positive changes in our communities.  A passionate advocate for education in the arts, her background includes Director of stage plays and musicals,  Actor, Educator in Theater and Speech, Actor, Improv Artist/Sketch Writer, Speaker, and Theater Producer. With a B.A. in Theater Arts from University of Southern California, Michelle is proud to have studied with Robert Hartung (former producer, Hallmark Hall of Fame), John Houseman, Nina Foch, Stanley Zareff, as well as Charles Duff and Louis Fantasia (Founders of the Globe Theatre Education Programme, UK).  A former member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association, she has worked in over 150 stage plays, musicals, cabarets, playreadings and performance pieces. Professionally, she began her career in Los Angeles, and has additionally worked in Houston, New Mexico, New York, and the U.K. (where she created the role of Stella Deems in the British premiere of Stephen Sondheim's Follies).  Earlier this year, she was a featured conversationalist for the program, UH Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS).

Tina Berry joined the Lionwoman team during its inaugural season. A seasoned marketing executive with a degree in Marketing and Communications, she is passionate about the transformative power of the arts. With extensive expertise in theater marketing and audience engagement, Tina brings dedication, creativity, and follow-through to every collaboration. She is proud to help shine a spotlight on Lionwoman Productions' mission within the Houston community and shares the organization's commitment to building relationships, fostering inclusivity, and elevating stories that amplify underrepresented voices. At Lionwoman Productions, she is dedicated to expanding audiences, elevating productions, and advancing the company's artistic mission. "Seeking to Connect, Inspire, and Transform - one audience at a time."
